Returns & Exchanges

We want you to feel confident when choosing a rug for your home. Because each Rugs & Roots piece is carefully selected and handled, we kindly ask that returned rugs meet the conditions below.

14-Day Returns

Eligible rugs may be returned within 14 days of delivery.

Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Original shipping, delivery, and handling charges, if applicable, are non-refundable.

We strongly recommend using a trackable and insured shipping service. Rugs & Roots is not responsible for returns that are lost or damaged while being shipped back to us.

Refunds

Once your rug is received, it will be inspected to ensure it meets our return conditions.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original method of payment, less any applicable return shipping or non-refundable delivery charges.

Please allow several business days after inspection for your refund to be processed. Your bank or payment provider may require additional time for the refund to appear.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

We carefully inspect our rugs before shipment. In the unlikely event that your rug arrives damaged or you receive an incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include photographs of the rug, packaging, and any visible damage.

Please do not ship a damaged item back before contacting us. We will work with you to determine the appropriate solution.

Final Sale & Special Orders

Items clearly marked Final Sale, as well as custom or special-order rugs, are not eligible for return unless they arrive damaged or incorrect.
